AI produces to much code so quickly that manual code reviews may not be feasible anymore. We need tools to help us keep up. Combat AI slop using any tool you can. AI itself is one way to assess the quality of software, but using AI alone to police AI is the blind leading the blind. Code quality solutions have been around much longer than AI coding assistance. Static Analysis tools are some of the best tools to solve this problem. We will go over the popular ones at a high level.
